Event: Fostering a respectful workplace in HK and the PRC

Posted on 24/04/2026 by Jordan Eckley

Wednesday 27th May 2026 | 2.30pm - 5pm | Central, Hong Kong

We’re pleased to be hosting an upcoming session in partnership with Lewis Silkin, bringing together HR professionals, business leaders and managers for a discussion on fostering respectful and inclusive workplaces across Hong Kong and mainland China.

Led by Matthew Durham, Senior Consultant, and Gladys Ching, Managing Associate, the session will explore both the legal frameworks and practical considerations shaping how organisations approach workplace discrimination and harassment across the region. With extensive cross-border experience, both speakers will share real-world insight into navigating these complex and evolving challenges.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • A practical overview of Hong Kong and PRC legal frameworks relating to workplace discrimination and harassment.

  • Clear, actionable guidance on preventing issues before they arise.

  • Best practices for managing and resolving grievances effectively and sensitively.

  • An opportunity to connect with peers and continue the conversation during networking over drinks and refreshments.
