Our client is one of the world’s leading and most respected investment management firms with an established footprint in Asia Pacific. They are now seeking a top calibre and highly efficient Secretarial Managerto oversee the administration function regionally for their Investment team. The incumbent needs to have people management experience and will be expected to maintain operational best practices and work as part of a regional team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing a team of Support Staff for the APAC Investment team and ensuring everything is running smoothly and appropriately
Maintain good relationships with stakeholders across Asia and collaborate with the larger team across Europe and the U.S.
Provide training and mentoring to the assistants, and assign allocation of resourcing needs and team coverage
Responsible for hiring and onboarding of new joiners in the Investment team
Monitor the admin workflow, appraise results, and resolve any issues
Coordinate office and team social events as required and assist on the coordination of corporate events e.g. seminars, conferences, and roadshows
Keep abreast of best practice and industry trends
Handle any ad hoc projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Degree qualified
Minimum of 10 years or above experience in Office Management & Administration; financial services experience is a MUST
Demonstrated track record of successful team management
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively – comfortable in a fast-paced and multicultural team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal with senior stakeholders
Fluency in written and spoken English; Mandarin would be advantageous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proactive with outstanding problem-solving skills
