A renowned and prestigious asset management firm with an impressive track record and huge global presence is currently seeking a top calibre AVP, Facilities Operations expert to support the team in the development and coordination of Facilities operations and implementation of critical systems and projects in APAC. Reporting into the VP, the successful candidate will be an experienced, innovative, team-oriented individual who can handle all aspects of facilities operations in a growing region. This position will be critical to the continued high levels of service that are currently provided to the business.
Responsibilities:
Business partner with the local business and the global Admin Services management team
In collaboration with Corporate Admin Services Senior Management supports short and long range planning; space management; operational and departmental budgeting; ensures compliance and best business practices are followed, documented, and reports are generated
Together with the global support teams oversees critical and environmental systems for APAC sites. Ensuring at all times that global standards are maintained, risks are identified and that business continuity plans, and emergency response procedures are in place
Supports Business Continuity duties for all APAC sites, including emergency response to critical systems alarms escalations
Proactively participates in the APAC sustainability efforts to ensure the region adheres to the corporate initiatives, reporting and goals
Contract formation and management, ensuing that appropriate control systems are in place to ensure financial, statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met
Responsible for maintaining Health and Safety processes and procedures across the region
Responsible for maintaining the sustainability data and annual finance requests of reinstatement and insurance accounting
Reports to a timely manner to executive management on regional, divisional, and departmental activities, costs and progress
Responsible for financial planning and management of the region, collaborating with the Corporate Admin Services Finance group
Together with the Design/Construction Project Manager ensures the delivery of quality construction on time and ensures preparation for office operations
Oversees support team on the day to day administration operations
Supports and coordinates vendor management relationships
Participates in development and implementation of methods, procedures and workflow efficiencies to ensure that consistently high standards of quality and productivity are maintained
Complete special projects, or additional duties as required by Corporate Management
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in Facilities Management
Prior experience within financial services
Direct line management experience
Proficient in English and preferably other Asian languages
Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills; both written and oral
The ability to travel when required
Problem solver, with the ability to respond quickly to challenging situations as they occur
Be able to work collaboratively and coordinate with others to accomplish overall corporate goals
Ability to influence decision making
A high level of computer literacy
