Our client, an international brand is making its way into the Hong Kong and North Asia market. They are looking for a business development manager to join their team and ensure a successful entry into the industry
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the company’s success in a new market
- Develop annual business plans and trade activities with other departments
- Conduct sales analysis and identify areas of improvement
- Efficiently formulate business plans to take advantage of business opportunities
- Report to the Asia CEO and Head of Sales on the company’s progress in the new market
- Create forecast reports and methods of development
Requirements:
- Track record of successfully bringing products to a new market
- 10+ years or sales and marketing experience, preferably in consumer goods or home appliances
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to work independently
- Able to multi-task under pressure and identify the different requirements for each market
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong distribution network and retail channels in other Asian markets e.g. Korea, Taiwan and Japan
- Fluent in English is essential, addition Asian languages would be highly advantageous
