A hugely reputable investment firm is currently looking for a Research Assistant to support a senior PM and their team. The ideal candidate will be confident yet warm, and have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills, alongside proven experience providing support within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
Provide full spectrum of secretarial and administrative support to senior management and the team (previous experience handling corporate access matters on an equities desk is highly desired)
Manage extremely busy diaries by maintaining calendars and schedules
Organise global travel arrangements, visas, itineraries and process related expenses
Co-ordinate meetings, set-up video/audio conferences, and prepare meeting materials
Screen calls with a professional manner and manage both incoming and outgoing communications
On occasion, manage personal affairs including booking appointments and some family travel
Maintain discretion on all confidential matters
Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or equivalent
At least 5 years relevant experience
Fluent English and Cantonese is a must, Mandarin speaking skills are a bonus
Good communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Highly organised and able to prioritise, multi-task and deal with last minute changes
A warm personality with a positive work attitude and willingness to help others
Good working knowledge of MS Office
