A well-established multinational executive search firm is looking for a superb Business Development/Researcher to join their team. To be successful in this role you will need to be naturally personable, detail-oriented, process driven and have the ability to hit the ground running in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Resource live roles, following a full brief from a senior team member. Qualify candidates, and pitch the candidates to the relevant senior team member
• Generate candidates through the management of applications, headhunting and selected methods of candidate attraction
• Market mapping Executive and Director level professionals in the designated sector
• Contact candidates with desired skills and discuss current searches that are running on behalf of the clients
• Organise and conduct candidate screening calls and registration interviews
• Maintain a strong relationship with the candidates, ensure their availability and activity in the market is kept up to date and tracked at all times
• Assist with the interview preparation for candidates prior to them meeting a prospective employer
• Identify market trends by speaking to candidates and share this knowledge with the wider team
• Proactively manage relationships with all candidates. Ensure regular contact with candidates by providing feedback and communication
• Build a network and database of relevant candidate contacts
• Add new Business Development contracts on the database
Requirements:
• Degree holder who is keen to develop their skills both personally and professionally, ideally with experience in business development and research within the executive search/recruitment industry
• Exceptional client service skills; ability to remain calm in pressured situations
• Flexible and the ability to think on your feet and respond to last minute changes calmly
• Ability to work under pressure and be a strong team player
• A very high degree of literacy and excellent communication skills, on paper and over the telephone
• Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and targets
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate confidently with both clients and all levels of staff within the business
• Be punctual, reliable and capable of working independently as well as part of a busy team
• Be enthusiastic and flexible to undertake a wide range of tasks, with an ability to think on their feet and provide solutions
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English is essential. Fluent Mandarin is an advantage
• Confident yet friendly and warm personality
• Solid experience of working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
