Our client is one of the leading fund management and private equity firms with Asia focus. It has offices in HK, China and the US. They are now seeking an IT Manager to join their dynamic team in HK to support their HK and China offices.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all tec-hnology services in Hong Kong and China office locations
- This role will be based in Hong Kong, providing onsite support for the Hong Kong office and remote/onsite support for the other China office locations
- Travel to China will be required when onsite support is needed.
- Provide day-to-day IT support to the firm’s professionals
- Manage all office technology, including copiers, printers, projectors, phones, servers and other technology products
- Monitor and optimize the daily performance of computer systems
- Responsible for the desktop/laptop/mobile device support (platform, software, hardware, office applications) for a team of around 30 people
- Supervise and coordinate with local vendors in Asia for equipment procurement and problem-solving
- Confer with staff, users, and management to determine requirements for new systems or modifications
- Prepare evaluations of software and hardware, and submits recommendations to management for review
- Work with other IT team members on IT projects, such as Exchange server and network equipment upgrades
- Lead technology support at conferences and special events based in Asia
Requirements:
- BA degree or higher in Information Technologies
- Minimum 5- 7 years of equivalent work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese, with proficient Mandarin
- Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership/responsibility
- Expert on the Windows platform, office suite, IOS and Android
- Good problem-solving skills, able to think out-of-the-box and provide creative solutions with technology
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Possesses excellent leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent leadership skills and works collaboratively
- Experience administering network equipment and security technologies (Switches, firewalls, VPN, etc.) is a plus
