A reputable international law firm is looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Hong Kong office.
The successful candidate will be detail-minded, organised and have previous experience working within the corporate commercial area for an international law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a full spectrum of legal secretarial, administrative and occasional personal assistant support to senior associate and partner
- Create, edit and proofread letters, legal documents and other relevant memos by using Microsoft Office applications and document comparison software
- Drafting, formatting and preparing legal documents
- Manage emails, calendar appointments and contact lists
- Answer incoming and place outgoing calls
- Maintain the internal filing system
- Handle any ad-hoc administrative duties or projects as assigned or required
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary in an international law firm is essential
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred
- Good English audio typing skill is a must
- A solid proficiency in all MS office applications and Chinese Word Processing is essential for this role
- Strong time management skills and an ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure will be absolutely key
- Great work attitude and the willingness to work overtime when necessary
