A highly reputable firm specializing in Surveying, Architecture, and Construction is looking for a superb Office Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be personable, self-motivated and confident in their ability to manage the everyday running of a busy office environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide full range of administrative and operations support including office relocation, renovation, procurement, facilities management and equipment maintenance
• Closely liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth business operations
• Organise the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery, equipment and any additional needs
• Involvement with HR/people related initiatives across the business
• Manage both scheduled and unplanned annual leave and absence
• Provide input in terms of efficiency of service and suggest improvements where required
• Maintain filing system and confidential information
• Negotiate and review contracts with all vendors providing goods and services to the office
• Organise office events
• Prepare expenses reimbursement
• Organise induction programmes for new joiners to ensure they are inducted on office procedures and practices
• Support on ad-hoc projects as assigned
Responsibilities:
• Preferably a Degree holder who is keen to develop their skills both personally and professionally
• Previous experience of at least 8 years working at this level, ideally within the Surveying, Architecture, and Construction industry
• Knowledge of best practice methods and project management skills will be required
• A high level of emotional maturity is essential for this role and superb attention to detail, too, with a flexible and proactive approach
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Motivated, proactive and autonomous with the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing priorities and responsibilities
• Superb interpersonal skills to deal with people at all levels
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines
