Our client is a highly reputable law firm with offices across the globe. They are currently looking for an experienced PA to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include the followings:
• Provide a full spectrum of high quality personal assistance and secretarial support to the Partner
• Assist with the marketing functions and events
• Prepare, edit, format and proof letters and other documents
• Prepare initial drafts of basic transaction documents for review by partners
• Keep a detailed accounts receivable spread sheet and chase payment (debtor chasing)
• Set up new matters / clients / e-files and assist lawyers in management of the matter file
• Send out legal opinions and other documents and scanning documents into e-file format for any given matter
• Use the ‘Elite’ system to create pre-bills and fee notes, cost entry relating to any given matter
• Make appointments and organising the diary for the Partner
• Conduct online searches for marketing purposes
• Use Deltaview in order to compare and contrast documents
• Keep a record of supervisors contacts
• Book international travel and hotels for lawyers
Requirements
The ideal candidate would have the following qualities:
• 8+ years’ of stable legal secretarial experience gained within an international firm
• Experience in serving partners or senior associates is essential
• Exposure to Litigation area preferred
• Excellent language skills (English, Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Strong computer skills such as proficiency in MS office applications
• Detail oriented with the ability to be a team player
• Ability to work under pressure whilst deliver with excellence
