My client, a global financial services firm, is looking for a talented Procurement & Operations Specialist to join their rapidly growing business. You will be working closely with the Heads of the Procurement & Operations functions on multiple projects within the region. This role will encompass the full procurement lifecycle and requires a dynamic and driven team-player with experienced gained from the financial services industry and excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full spectrum of procurement activities ensuring full compliance with related policies and procedures
- Source operations contractors and vendors, tender services and managing ongoing relationships
- Field requests from various business units and provide professional direction, guidance and support on all procurement matters
- Compile Purchase Orders and maintain record of transactions
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Corporate IT and Finance teams on contract negotiation and approvals
- Work with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Post-purchase support including the efficient running of facilities management (i.e. repairs and maintenance, housekeeping, cleaning and general services, etc.)
- Analyse and identify process gaps and facilitate continuous improvement within procurement function
- Assist in ad-hoc procurement related projects and report analysis to senior management when necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Procurement, Business Administration or related disciplines)
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant procurement & operations experience in a sizeable organisation in the financial services industry
- Excellent spoken and written English and Cantonese
- Knowledge of Workday, Oracle, SAP or equivalent ERP system
- Good negotiation, communications, and interpersonal skills
- High integrity, detail oriented, able to work under pressure and self-motivate
