An international and well-established firm within the Exhibition Services and Live Marketing industry is searching for a superb Technical Manager to join their growing team in Shanghai. This is a great opportunity for a highly-organised, innovative and pro-active individual who has excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Sales Project Manager with the analysis, preparation, calculation and development of a complete or part of the projects in the exhibition, event, temporary building and interior decoration sectors
• The technical project manager is responsible for selection of and coordination with both internal and external partners, so to completely realize the projects
• Responsible for all technical solutions and construction as well as feasibility study (internal, external)
• Responsible for cost calculation and time planning of the projects
• Capable of CAD drawing
• Responsible for purchasing and ordering of all related items and materials
• Define the logistic needs and arrange it
• Onsite supervision during the set-up, rehearsal and dismantling periods
• Archive all documents and materials for the project
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or above with a technical and/or engineering background
• At least 5-7 years of senior technical project management experience in international live marketing projects in both China and overseas
• Good awareness of the material, process and technology trend
• Active network of qualified partners and suppliers in major cities in China
• Fast reaction to cost and technical questions
• Cost sensitive in the complete phases of the project management
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, German is a plus
• Good knowledge of using Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, Auto CAD etc.
• Ability to use InDesign, Vector works, 3D-Studio-Max and 3D-CAD Inventor is a plus
• Self-motivated, client oriented, committed, responsible, a solution-finder and loyal
