Overview
Our Client is a leading private investment firm, and they are seeking an Assistant Group Secretary to support their legal team and ensure the smooth operation of their group's corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have a background in legal secretarial work and will be detail-minded, humble, and dedicated to teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
• Collaborating with legal and executive teams to ensure effective governance practices
• Assisting in the preparation and distribution of meeting materials
• Communicating with various stakeholders to support governance initiatives
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of corporate governance processes
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to corporate governance
• Assisting with the preparation of board and committee meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes
• Maintaining corporate records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Supporting the group's legal team with administrative tasks and document management
• Coordinating with various departments to gather information and provide support on governance-related matters
• Assisting in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role
• Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
• Detail-minded and able to maintain accurate and organized records
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork and integrity
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
