Arguably the most fast growing and dynamic of Hong Kong’s restaurant groups, our client is looking for an outstanding Restaurant Manager to manage their restaurant on Hong Kong Island.
The Manager will be responsible for daily opening and closing operations, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As a restaurant Manager, you will have responsibility for the food and beverage service that seats 30 people, working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
Greet customers and take their orders.
Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items.
Handling reservations and seating arrangements with Seven rooms system
Serve food and beverages to customers.
Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with customers and addressing any concerns.
Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions.
Clean and set up tables and dining areas.
Assist in the front-house inventory.
Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
Showcase outstanding leadership and management skills to keep operations and service standards afloat.
Requirements:
At least 3 years Food & Beverage Management experience as a Restaurant Manager
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a passion for food and guest service
Knowledge of Food and Beverage service, preparation, and offering the required service and ability to develop the rest of the team. Good wine knowledge would be an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling cash and credit card transactions.
Experience in handling the ‘Seven rooms’ booking system is an advantage.
Presentable, passionate in providing high-quality service, warmth to host, and inspires confidence in product and service.
Great leadership skills to motivate and manage the team to ensure excellence.
Positive mindset
Good command of spoken English (Cantonese & Mandarin would be an advantage). Prior experience is a plus
