A well-recognised global law firm with a supportive and inclusive workplace culture is seeking a talented and driven Business Development and Marketing Specialist to join their team and work directly with the lawyers to develop and execute clear business strategies, manage BD pursuits, marketing campaigns, communications and client events. The ideal candidate will have legal experience, excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills, organisation skills and attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as lead project manager for RFPs and pitches
Write new business proposals and conduct matter research
Lead practice group submissions for rankings, surveys, and other ratings information
Develop and refine processes and procedures related to business development tools and systems
Prepare practice/matter descriptions for marketing materials and digital communications platforms
Coordinate with Market Intelligence and Research teams to conduct industry and client research
Facilitate the planning, implementation, and follow-up of new business or cross-marketing opportunities
Plan and execute firm-hosted/sponsored seminars and receptions for current and prospective clients
Assist with the production and distribution of client newsletters, alerts, and external communications
Generate, edit, and monitor regional content on the Firm's website and social media platforms
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and business development
Relevant experience at a law firm or professional services firm is preferred
Fluent/Native English and Chinese (written & spoken) is a must
Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
Excellent writing and proofreading skills
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
Advance PowerPoint presentation skills is preferred
Experience in conducting research and analysis
Working knowledge of customer relationship, pipeline and experience management databases such as InterAction, Saleforce and/or Foundation is preferred
