A leading Asia-focused investment management firm is looking for a hands-on and highly efficient Company Secretarial Assistant to join their team in Hong Kong on a 3 month contract. They are seeking a responsible, self-motivated and well-organised candidate who can pick-up quickly and work well within the team.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the full spectrum of company secretarial work for a portfolio of Hong Kong and offshore companies
- Monitor and ensure compliance with the Companies Ordinance and other statutory and regulatory requirements
- Assist in drafting minutes/resolutions, agreements and other company documents
- Update and maintain statutory records and filings
- Handle KYC requests and documentation
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties, including solicitors and regulatory bodies
- Responsible for non-statutory matters such as due diligence and opening of bank accounts
- Support the Company Secretarial Manager and assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree holder and member of ICSA / HKICS or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience gained in the company secretarial field, preferably from company secretary service providers or law firms
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).
- Proficiency in CSA Expert and all Microsoft Office applications is essential
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet with tight deadlines
- Proactive with outstanding attention to detail
- Must be immediately available
