Company Secretary (6 Month Contract)

A leading Asia-focused private equity firm with offices across the globe is looking for an experienced Company Secretary to join their team in Hong Kong on an initial 6 month contract. They are seeking a responsible, self-motivated and well-organised candidate who can pick-up quickly and work well within the team.  

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Company Secretary Manager in all company secretarial matters 

• Prepare and review annual return, registers update, resolutions and minutes, statutory filings, and announcements & circulars as required

• Responsible for non-statutory matters such as due diligence and opening of bank accounts 

• Assist in creating company kits after incorporation and formation of entities 

• Complete filing and KYC documentation

• Manage project closings e.g. arranging resolutions, signatures, affixing chops and seals

• Providing the business with Group/SPV lists and charts updates

Requirements:

• Degree holder and member of ICSA/HKICS or equivalent

• 5 years relevant working experience

• Fully versed in compliance matters including Companies Ordinance and other statutory and regulatory requirements

• Knowledge of CSA software

• Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications

• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua)
