Job Description

An international financial services organisation, based in Hong Kong, is currently seeking to appoint an Events and Marketing Officer to support their team. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a varied role within a small team, have excellent communication skills, is highly organised and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

•    Design, organise and coordinate various conferences, sponsorships and marketing initiatives
•    Assist with back-office administrative tasks and marketing-related communications, such as arranging conference calls, emailing and scheduling meetings 
•    Working as part of a team to answer telephones, respond to requests, welcome and make arrangements for visitors when necessary
•    Coordinate, plan and implement social media campaigns, ensure the execution of timely and relevant social media posts across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin)
•    Getting involved proactively in organizing quarterly events and other initiatives

Requirements:

•    Experience of marketing in a multi-national, financial services environment
•    High level of attention to detail, great initiative and the ability to multi-task
•    Strong communication skills, including presentation and writing skills
•    Ability to thrive in a small team environment and remain calm under pressure 
•    Technical know-how, familiarity with Microsoft Office, Internet and Social Media
•    Knowledge of media relations and marketing a plus
•    Native English language skills would be an advantage, alongside Mandarin (preferred)
•    Bachelor degree preferred
