A reputable law firm with strong global presence is now seeking a temporary HR administrator to join their Hong Kong office. This is an unique opportunity to be part of a leading team with strong possibility of being converted into a permanent role for the right candidate. The incumbent will ideally have a law firm background with exposure to compliance.
Job description:
- Administer major compliance procedures regarding the Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Risk Management Education (RME), application and renewal of practising certifications
- Act as the main contact point in managing and coordinating the local CPD training programmes with the Law Society
- Oversee the registration and renewal of the lawyers’ practicing certificates
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure that requirements from the law society are met
- Arrange language training for the local office
- Any other ad hoc assignments as assigned
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HR Administrator in an international law firm is essential
- May consider strong legal secretary or paralegal profiles
- Excellent communication skills in English; Cantonese would be desirable
- A solid proficiency in all MS office applications is essential
- Strong time management skills and an ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure will be absolutely key
- Great work attitude and the willingness to work overtime when necessary
