Job Description

An international financial services firm based in Central is looking for a professional and experienced Receptionist who is able to provide cover for an initial 3 month period. This cover will be on an ad hoc basis when the company’s Receptionist is on annual or sick leave and offers a great hourly rate as compensation. The successful candidate will be immaculately presented, friendly and personable with excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese.

 

Responsibilities

  • Answer and screen incoming phone calls
  • Meet and greet both employees and visitors
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mailings and faxes
  • Book couriers and receive packages
  • Book and co-ordinate the use of meeting rooms
  • Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Any ad hoc support to ensure the office’s smooth operations

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with previous receptionist or administrative support experience
  • Good interpersonal skills, organization skills, and communication skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
  • Outgoing personality, efficient, responsible, well-organized, multi-task and able to work under pressure
  • Good knowledge in MS office
  • A commitment of at least 3 months is absolutely essential
  • Ideally immediately available
