Our client is a fast growing company in retail and e-commerce with international operations. The Hong Kong office is now seeking a detail-minded and highly efficient Accountant to support their CFO. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy having autonomy, and thrive working within a small team. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review the monthly ledgers for all overseas subsidiaries
• Communicate with internal and external parties in APAC as well as Europe and North America
• Follow up on supplier invoices and customer payments
• Invoicing and reconciliation of internet sales/payments, intercompany accounts, and management of weekly treasury forecast
• Responsible for month end closing, general ledger, tax and audit procedures
• Handle inventory control
• Produce and analyse monthly sales reports against budget
• Process payroll and MPF
• Oversee regulatory aspects, liaising with notaries and lawyers
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ accounting experience, preferably in a small company environment
• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification
• Working knowledge of SAP B1 or an ERP equivalent
• Proficient Excel skills, including pivot tables and other common functions
• Outstanding communication skills in English and Cantonese; Mandarin would be highly advantageous
• Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and manage tight deadlines whilst maintaining a strong commitment to quality
• Enthusiastic and proactive
