About the role
We are seeking a Business Development and Marketing Specialist for an international law firm. This role will serve as a key liaison for assigned practice teams, focusing on developing and executing strategies to enhance business development efforts, marketing campaigns, client events, and communications.
Responsibilities
Lead the management of proposals and pitches, including preparing presentations and tailored responses.
Conduct research and write business proposals to secure new opportunities.
Follow up on pitches and analyze outcomes for continuous improvement.
Manage submissions for industry rankings and surveys, ensuring high-quality and accurate information.
Develop and refine business development tools and processes, maintaining quality control across all materials.
Prepare marketing content, including practice descriptions, newsletters, and website updates.
Collaborate with research teams to support practice development initiatives.
Track the impact of business development initiatives on the firm's budget.
Plan and execute seminars and events for current and prospective clients.
Identify speaking opportunities and create supporting materials.
Generate and manage content for the firm’s website and social media platforms.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of five years of experience in marketing, business development, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Fluency in English and Chinese
Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and develop strategic insights.
Capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred:
Experience in professional services, particularly in law firms.
Familiarity with CRM and project management tools.
Advanced skills in presentation software.
