An Asia based hedge fund with a phenomenal track record and outstanding backing is now seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Senior Manager/VP Finance to help oversee their Finance function in Hong Kong. It is an exciting time to join the business as they are continuing to perform despite the many challenges and are expanding across different functions. This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding candidate whom is passionate about delivery and willing to assume a hands-on role.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of general ledger including invoice settlement and expense reimbursement
- Maintenance of fixed asset register and depreciation schedules
- Reconciliation and recalculation of fee income receivable from investment funds
- Timely and accurate preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Deal with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts
- Timely completion of tax returns with any relevant authorities
- Management of transfer pricing documentation
- Preparation of GAAP compliant company financial statements for the company audit and provision of accurate returns for group consolidation
- Development of monthly management accounts
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience with at least some of this time spent in the asset management space
- Degree qualified in Accountancy, Banking, Finance, or related fields
- Preference for those with Big 4 or International Accounting Firm training
- Must be CPA qualified
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in both English & Mandarin
- Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting demands whilst maintaining a strong commitment to quality
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Enthusiastic and proactive
