A leading private equity firm focusing on healthcare investments is currently seeking a top calibre Investor Relations Associate or VP to join their IR team in Hong Kong. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with the senior management team and gain great exposure to many areas of the firm.
Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate any fundraising related activities
- Conduct and analyse relevant market research
- Attend marketing trips across the region and proactively reach out to current and prospective investors
- Perform investor KYC and due diligence through to fund closing
- Collaborate with Finance & Legal on responding to investor related inquiries
- Assist with day-to-day client servicing and internal operations
- Host any investor relations related activities and events including investor meetings and conferences
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, marketing materials, operational updates, quarterly reports, and market updates
- Handle any ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ work experience in a similar role; Private Equity / Placement Agent background would be preferable
- A demonstrable set of relevant institutional investor relationships
- Excellent presentation with outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English & Mandarin
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where time is of the essence and responsiveness to often short timelines to execute transactions is required
- Willingness to travel as required for fundraising activities or relationship development/maintenance
- Strong integrity and team orientation
