Our client is an international law firm headquartered in the U.K. with a strong and growing presence in Asia Pacific. They are now seeking a top calibre Paralegal to join and support their Family Law team. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Family Law team in streamlining the filing of legal documents
- Review all existing legal documents to ensure that everything is in order
- Assist in drafting legal documents and emails/letters to clients
- Conduct company and legal research
- Due diligence and disclosure
- Preparing bundles for court and papers for counsel
- Attending meetings with client/counsel and court hearings
- Research tasks: either on points of law or more general research
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Law or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of paralegal experience in private practice or in-house
- Exceptional research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and prior experience working in an international environment
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet with tight deadlines
- Adaptable and collaborative nature
- There may be a requirement to undertake additional Dispute Resolution work should business needs dictate
