Job Description

Our client is an international law firm headquartered in the U.K. with a strong and growing presence in Asia Pacific. They are now seeking a top calibre Paralegal to join and support their Family Law  team. Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Family Law team in streamlining the filing of legal documents
  • Review all existing legal documents to ensure that everything is in order
  • Assist in drafting legal documents and emails/letters to clients
  • Conduct company and legal research
  • Due diligence and disclosure
  • Preparing bundles for court and papers for counsel
  • Attending meetings with client/counsel and court hearings 
  • Research tasks: either on points of law or more general research
 
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Law or related disciplines
  • 3-5 years of paralegal experience in private practice or in-house
  • Exceptional research skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and prior experience working in an international environment
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet with tight deadlines
  • Adaptable and collaborative nature 
  • There may be a requirement to undertake additional Dispute Resolution work should business needs dictate
