Our client is a prestigious and long-established law firm with several offices around the world. They are now seeking a top calibre and highly meticulous Paralegal to support their Capital Markets team. This is a fantastic opportunity and rather unique long term contract with entitlement to great benefits that will allow you to be part of a dynamic and international team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Capital Markets team in streamlining the filing of legal documents
- Review all existing legal documents to ensure that everything is in order
- Assist in drafting and preparation of legal documents, proofreading and amending as necessary
- Conduct legal and commercial research; perform analysis using various sources of reference
- Assist with the signing and completion process as well as any verification exercises
- Handle post completion work including production of transaction bibles and distribution of transaction documents
- Liaise with internal and external parties for follow up
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Law or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of paralegal experience in private practice or in-house
- Exceptional research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and cope with pressure and conflicting demands
- Adaptable and collaborative nature
