The Business Support Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and support the Business Manager. This position supports sales admins, inventory management, event coordination and store presentation while contributing to a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily store operations, including documentation, update records and data entry.
Monitor and replenish stock levels to ensure product availability.
Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
Engage with customers, provide product information, and support sales initiatives.
Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Set up and maintain attractive in-store displays.
Assist in organizing and executing promotional events.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized shop environment.
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports as required.
Support with stock ordering and supplier coordination.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Contribute ideas to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
Higher diploma or equivalent; retail-related certification is a plus.
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
