Urgently seeking a Company Secretary for a boutique advisory firm!
A Hong Kong based Financial Services advisory firm is looking for an experienced and capable Company Secretary. This role has the potential to have flexibility and work from home options, but solid CS experience is key.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handling full spectrum of company secretarial duties, including changing of directors, director’s particulars, company name, Designated Representative and Significant Controller and bank signatories etc, to declare and pay interim dividends, to prepare Waiver of Debts, Annual Returns, AGM documents etc.
Opening/Closing bank accounts and amending of bank signatories of companies’ bank accounts.
Handling due diligence documents for offshore companies with registered agents.
Handling banks’ due diligence documents, e.g., CRS forms, W-8BEN-E-forms, for the companies.
Compiling Economic Substance Reporting for companies with BVI registered agent annually.
Maintaining and updating internal compliance records, including SCR and AML records.
Working with the company’s internal accounts and taxation teams.
Liaising with the Companies Registry, the Inland Revenue Department BVI registered agents’ external auditors and banks.
Handling visa applications
Maintaining friendly, professional, and efficient relationships with clients
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5 years’ experience in company secretary field.
Chartered Secretary will be preferred
Proficiency with CSA software is a must
Knowledge in Xero software will be an advantage
Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
Professional, good interpersonal, and communication skills
