About the role
We are seeking a Legal Recruitment Coordinator for an international law firm. While 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or administrative work is preferred, candidates with relevant internships in law firm/ HR will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate local legal talent efforts:
Oversee various aspects of the recruitment process to ensure effective hiring.
Support the recruitment process:
Assist with coordinating interview logistics, including scheduling interviews and preparing interviewers.
Help organize and support local Hiring Committee meetings as needed.
Maintain and update recruiting files, ensuring all candidate information is accurate and accessible.
Manage candidate correspondence, including follow-ups and feedback.
Process and track recruitment-related expenses, ensuring accurate reimbursements.
Manage intern and summer programs:
Plan and coordinate activities and events for interns and summer associates, such as luncheons, seminars, and social gatherings.
Ensure a positive experience for participants through engaging programming.
Assist with onboarding of new hires:
Finalize and distribute onboarding materials, including letters, questionnaires, and relocation policies.
Implement programs and events designed to help new legal talent integrate smoothly into the firm.
Coordinate bar activities for incoming attorneys, including exam registration and reimbursement processes.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and firm applications: Familiarity with tools essential for daily operations.
2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or administrative work: Relevant experience that showcases organizational and recruitment skills.
Open to fresh graduates with internship experience in a law firm: Candidates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
Fluency in English and Mandarin (required): Ability to communicate effectively with candidates and team members in both languages.
Prior experience in a law firm (preferred): Understanding of the unique dynamics and needs within a legal environment.
Knowledge of current hiring trends in the legal industry (preferred): Awareness of best practices and competitive landscape in legal recruitment.
Strong communication and organizational skills: Ability to convey information clearly and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work well under pressure: Capable of meeting deadlines and managing stressful situations effectively.
Self-motivated and reliable: Demonstrates initiative and dependability in completing tasks and supporting the team.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
