Key Responsibilities:
Manage strategic and day-to-day office operations.
Implement firm-wide strategies and processes.
Ensure needs of local attorneys, staff, and clients are met.
Liaise with regional and global support departments.
Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency with the office leader and attorneys.
Collaborate with partners and business services professionals to address changing needs.
Work with finance, technology, and talent management teams to implement solutions.
Monitor and report on strategic initiatives to stakeholders.
Support local business services in employment policies, recruiting, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with office policies and local regulations.
Oversee non-legal functions and manage office tasks within financial constraints.
Handle budgeting, invoicing, and compliance with local laws.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate office infrastructure.
Administer emergency response programs.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in office administration or HR management, preferably in a law or professional services firm.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
Bilingual in Mandarin and English.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
Effective communication skills and ability to build cooperative relationships.
Adaptability to a matrix environment and understanding of legal industry best practices.
