Our client is a renowned global financial institution with fixed income sales and trading operations in Asia Pacific. Due to strategic expansion, an exceptional opportunity has now been created to support the COO on the compliance and administrative side. You will be able to make a real impact in a highly visible role with exposure to all functions. You will be a self-starter who is willing to learn and roll up your sleeves.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Compliance Officer to ensure company policies, internal control procedures, and manuals are in keeping with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with the SFC on any license applications
- Coordinate with Head Office or subsidiaries as necessary
- Assist on any administrative and operational matters
- Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Business, Economics, Finance or Law related subjects
- At least 3 years’ working experience in sizable financial institutions would be preferable
- Compliance experience/exposure would be advantageous
- Great attitude and adaptable nature with strong ability to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Proficient in MS Office applications
