Job Description

An Asian based hedge fund with a phenomenal track record and outstanding backing is now seeking a top notch and highly meticulous Fund Operations expert to help oversee their middle office operations. This is an exceptional opportunity that will expose you to industry leaders and professionals to further propel your career.
  • Handle daily and monthly reconciliations
  • Prepare daily P&L and risk reports for traders and PMs and any other ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Monitor settlements, collateral, and cash management
  • Liaise with executing brokers, prime brokers, fund administrator and system vendors to resolve trade issues and trade breaks
  • Work closely with internal teams such as trading, finance and compliance to ensure smooth operational flow
  • Review fund capital activity to ensure it is properly processed
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned 
  • Degree qualified
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a middle/back office support role, ideally with buy-side firms
  • Prior experience working with fund administrator and/or financial services audit
  • Strong understanding of financial services, related products and services, operational requirements and procedures, market and technology related trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Outstanding VBA macro skills
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin would be advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet with tight deadlines
  • Great attitude and able to collaborate with the larger team
