Our Client is a private equity firm with a strong presence in Asia. They are looking for a Senior Paralegal to join their team.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with the execution of investments and coordinating with external counsel, banks and various other parties to ensure legal agreements are in proper order
• Assist in managing the implementation and enforcement of internal company policies and external regulations
• Review and follow up on confidentiality agreements
• Implement and maintain Securities and Exchange Commission control policies and procedures to enhance internal control systems
• Draft shareholder and board resolutions for all investments and check investment committee reports to ensure compliance with internal policies
• Provide support on ad hoc legal and compliance matters
Requirements:
• University Degree, LLB holder preferred
• With extensive legal experience, preferably gained from law firms or financial institutions or listed companies
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese (Both Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Good organisation and analytical skills, attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-pace environment independently
