With a deep commitment to innovation and client success, the firm is seeking an experienced Electronic Records Analyst to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Office of General Counsel with the document hold/preservation orders and collection processes
• Work with applicable lawyers and staff on the identification and collection of potentially responsive email and electronic documents
• Utilize search and collection tools to facilitate identification and collection of responsive documents
• Process electronic records received in relations to the firm
• Administer process for the collection, review and release of electronic records
• Offer suggestions for process improvement, as appropriate
• Work with practice groups and administrative departments in electronic records management and compliance with the firm’s policy
• Execute process for electronic records disposition including email and litigation support data
• Execute processes for electronic records access exceptions and other electronic records management related actions
• Identify and plan to mitigate any electronic record management risks
• Provide support and guidance for electronic records
• Make decisions on the appropriate document management system for various forms of electronic records
• Act as a liaison between lawyers and IT regarding issues in relations of electronic records handling
• Conduct orientation of the records management policies and processes for new lawyers
Requirements
• Candidates must be eligible to work locally without requiring any visa sponsorship
• At least 4 years of records management or IT experience, preferably in a professional services firm
• Prior experience extracting and exporting data from Symantec's Enterprise Vault, Microsoft Exchange, Purview and NetDocuments
• Experience with Purview or similar e-discovery tools
• Experience with programming languages including XML and SQL
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, including .PST creation and review
• Strong interest in technology, and experience with information management systems such as records management databases, litigation support systems and document management systems
• Knowledge of data storage, migration and data conversion techniques
• Knowledge of records preservation procedures, practices, and techniques
• Knowledge of document lifecycle management for both hardcopy and electronic documents
• Experience with content management systems such as Documentum, FileNet, Hummingbird, Open Text, iManage or NetDocuments
• Experience with records management software such as Filetrail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system and basic network functions
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote
• Direct experience working with various forms of storage media
• Proven program/project management experience
