About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Secretary to support the corporate/ funds legal team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, a strong understanding of corporate law, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing schedules, preparing documents, and organizing files.
Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports related to corporate governance and fund management.
Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and presentations.
Maintain and organize legal files and databases, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct research on corporate law matters and assist in due diligence processes.
Coordinate communication with clients, internal departments, and external stakeholders.
Manage billing and invoicing processes, tracking time and expenses for legal services.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting corporate and funds practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or funds environment.
Strong knowledge of corporate legal terminology and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly with numerical data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
