Our client, a leading and well respected law firm, is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to support a Partner and Associates in Employment Law. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years legal secretary experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide timely and accurate support to partner and associates, with administrative support needs
Deliver high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change and the competing priorities of all work
Meet required deadlines and negotiate alternate timeframes when necessary
Prepare files for archiving and manage return and retrieval of files following firm guidelines
Assisting internal and external practice group events and functions
Adhere to firm, office and practice group policies and procedures, including those that are formal, informal, documented or verbal
Take all necessary steps to ensure you are aware of correct procedures
Demonstrate enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace, including participating in and contributing to team meeting
Ad hoic duties and projects as required
REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 years’ experience working as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
Knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Chinese typing
Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to building effective and trusting relationships with people internally and external to the firm.
Excellent English and Chinese language skills both written and spoken
Proven high level organisational and time management skills with the ability to think ahead, prioritise workload, respond to and manage changing circumstances and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and have a can-do attitude
