They are now seeking a top calibre and highly proactive and adaptable Marketing & Business Development Specialist to support their business development, events planning and marketing initiatives.   • Drive the firm’s client development efforts in Asia and facilitate cross-selling across offices and practice groups
  • Prepare pitches and capability statements in line with the firm’s guidelines and assist in providing marketing support to various practice groups
  • Work with fee earners to ensure deals are captured in the database
  • Maintain and update client distribution lists
  • Develop annual business plans for Asia with assigned practice and industry groups
  • Work with the team to support the implementation of practice group strategic plans, cross-border initiatives and client focused initiatives
  • Maintain internal practice group data and resources and manage processes to support the effective collection of data
  • Prepare directory and award submissions relating to various practice groups
  • Support the organisation and execution of any events and coordinate any local sponsorships and speaking engagements
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
  • An undergraduate degree 
  • A minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience in marketing and/or business development is desirable (Those with more/less experience may be considered for other positions in the team)
  • MUST have similar experience gained within law firms or professional services
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Exceptional project management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Commercial awareness and sound understanding of professional marketing approaches
  • Ability to work independently, identify and solve problems, and take initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use technology
