About the role
We are seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Japanese Chef to join a prestigious private institution. The ideal candidate will bring top-tier culinary expertise in Japanese cuisine, a deep understanding of tradition and innovation, and the ability to deliver an unforgettable dining experience in an exclusive and refined setting.
Key Responsibilities
Design and prepare authentic Japanese dishes, including kaiseki, sushi, sashimi, and seasonal specialties.
Develop bespoke menus tailored to the preferences and dietary requirements of clients.
Source and select premium, fresh ingredients to ensure the highest quality standards.
Maintain a pristine and well-organised kitchen environment.
Demonstrate innovation and creativity while respecting traditional Japanese culinary techniques.
Collaborate with staff to deliver seamless service and exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Japanese Chef in high-end restaurants, private dining, or similar exclusive settings.
Exceptional knowledge of Japanese cuisine, techniques, and presentation.
A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in kaiseki, sushi, and other Japanese culinary arts.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
