We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide technical assistance, support systems management, and help troubleshoot issues to ensure seamless operations across our organization. This position is at the intersection of technology and business, making it particularly suited for candidates with experience in the finance or professional services sectors.
Responsibilities
Offer first-line and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and server issues to end-users across the organization.
Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, and server concerns, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime.
Monitor and maintain IT systems performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
Install, configure, and update IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, servers, and peripherals.
Provide specialized support for technology integral to the finance sectors, such as financial applications or industry-specific software.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across organization-wide systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely support for ongoing projects and new technology rollouts.
Document technical processes, solutions, and troubleshooting steps to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to recommend improvements to current systems.
Maintain compliance with data security and confidentiality policies to safeguard sensitive information.
Qualifications
Proven experience (3+ years) in an IT support role, preferably within the finance industries.
Strong technical knowledge of server management, desktop operating systems, and network infrastructure.
Experience with financial management systems or sector-specific technologies.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection laws.
Familiarity with troubleshooting enterprise software and industry-specific tools.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical personnel effectively.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows environments.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
